Prostate cancer is commonly treated with primary radiation therapy (RT), which results in similar long-term oncological outcomes as radical prostatectomy but with fewer patient-reported side-effects. The question is that will SBRT treatments form the future of prostate cancer radiation therapy.

Paediatric radiotherapy
22 November – 15 December 2021 | Online
Early registration deadline: 3 November
Paediatric radiation oncology covers many different and complex fields in paediatric oncology. The distribution of knowledge on a worldwide level is an important component of the teaching course on paediatric radiation oncology co-organised by PROS (Paediatric Radiation Oncology Society) and ESTRO. The rarity of childhood neoplasms and the complexity of their management due to several factors are putting high demands on the application of radiation therapy.
Advanced Skills in Modern Radiotherapy
14 -18 November 2021 | Lisbon, Portugal
Early registration deadline: 14 October 2021
Radiation therapy is rapidly evolving, and this has great impact on the role of radiation therapists (RTTs). The target group for this course are RTTs who would like to expand or refresh their understanding of modern radiation therapy treatment design and delivery, and who want the tools to translate this theory into practice. We provide a programme that will serve both new and more experienced RTT. The programme is comprehensive, but targets knowledge and understanding that RTTs specifically need for good clinical practice in modern radiotherapy.
